The history of the foundation of the public corporation «Civil aviation Research plant №20» begins in 1945 with the organization, set up on the territory of the present enterprise of aircraft repair shop.
At the moment «Civil aviation Research plant №20» public corporation is one of the largest instrument making and repair workshops of Ukraine, which designs, produces and repairs a great variety of radio and electronic apparatuses, high-tech equipment and devices.
The main directions of the plant’s activity are: repair of the aircraft and radio-electronic equipment of the domestically produced civil aviation crafts, verification of the means of civil aviation measurement technology, design and production of the technical accessories, production of the aircraft training simulators, military (BTR, BMP, T-72 ) and automotive (Kamaz, K-750) training simulators, perimeter security system, equipment for cathode protection of the metal buildings from corrosion, anodic earth leads and container electric power station. Products are exploited in different climate conditions of the countries of Europe, Asia and Africa.
The public corporation’s main customers are: SE “Ukrtransgas”, NJSC “Neftegas Ukrainy”, JSC “Auto-Kraz”, SE “Ukroboronservice”, SC “Donbassaero”, SC “Luganskiye avialinii”, AC “Motor-Sich”, А/к “Dnepravia”, JSC “Techniko-kommercheskiy centre” (the Czech Republic), border forces of Turkmenistan, SC “Turkmengas”, “Omar Kassab” Ltd (the Syrian Arab Republic), “ Ashok Leyland Ltd” (India).
